The country’s intelligence chief Tapan Deka reached Chhattisgarh today. His visit to Chhattisgarh has taken place on the occasion when there is a discussion of the country’s largest Naxal operation in Chhattisgarh amidst the resonance of terrorist attacks in the country.
Naxal operation has been going on for the last 8 days on the Kurriguta hill of Bijapur district of the state. And this operation is being done by the soldiers of three states Maharashtra and Telangana including Chhattisgarh. More than 10 thousand soldiers are involved in the operation. It is being told that 1500 Naxalites hidden on the hill have been surrounded by the soldiers. The state and central government is alert about this operation.
Meanwhile, it is considered very important for Intelligence Chief to visit Chhattisgarh. According to sources, the IB chief is secretly taking a high -level meeting of top officials. However, no official information has come yet.
