Home Minister Amit Shah wrote in the post on social media platform X, “Security forces have achieved great success in the direction of creating Naxal -free India in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. In this operation, along with the heap of 31 Naxalites, a large amount of weapons and explosive materials have also been recovered. ”
He further wrote, “Today we have lost two brave soldiers in ending anti -humanity Naxalism. This country will always be indebted to these heroes. I express sentimental condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers. At the same time, I again repeat the resolve that before 31 March 2026, we will root out Naxalism from the country, so that no citizen of the country has to lose his life due to it. ”
At the same time, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai wrote on the social media platform X, “There is news of 31 Naxalites killed in an encounter with Naxalites of security forces in the National Park area of Bijapur district. The security forces are entering the den of Naxalites and eliminating it. This success that the soldiers got is commendable, pay obeisance to their bravery. In the encounter, there has also been a sad news of 2 soldiers martyrs and 2 jawans injured. I pray to God for the peace of the souls of the martyred soldiers and to provide support to the bereaved families and to recover the injured soldiers as soon as possible.
He further wrote, “In our double engine government, 282 Naxalites have been killed in 13 months in the state so far, 1033 Naxalites have been arrested and 925 Naxalites have surrendered. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, our state will continue to free Naxalism till March 2026. In this direction, the security personnel are moving fast towards the target by achieving continuous success. ”
