Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that providing quality health facilities and high level education to the citizens is the basic goal of development. Ayushman Bharat Yojana is no less than a boon for the citizens of the country. Today, more than 55 crore citizens of the country are getting free health services worth up to Rs 5 lakh in government and private hospitals through this scheme. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expanded this scheme to include every citizen of the country above 70 years of age. Now the government will have the entire responsibility of treating the country’s 6.5 crore citizens above 70 years of age. Through Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Prime Minister Shri Modi has made it easy for the poorest of the poor in the country to access excellent private hospitals. Private sector hospitals are also benefiting from this. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla inaugurated 96 Slice Siemens CT Scan and Naturopathy at Sidhi Hospital. He appreciated the efforts being made by Sidhi Hospital in the field of health.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, health facilities are continuously expanding in the state. He said that in the coming time, 35 thousand new posts will be recruited in the health department in the state. This includes 3 thousand doctors and 3 thousand paramedical staff. The Deputy Chief Minister said that along with district hospitals, health facilities will be expanded at the development block level. A doctor colony with all facilities will be built at the development block level, the benefits of which will be available to the doctors posted in the community health center and primary health center. Expansion of health facilities at the block level will reduce the pressure in the district hospital and improve the quality of health services.
