Ayurveda is the authentic way to live a better life at every age: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that only through Ayurveda can the feeling of “Jeevate Sharad: Shatam” be realized by realizing the goal of living for a hundred years. Ayurveda is a proven way to live a better life at every age. God has given medicine for every disease in nature itself, Ayurveda has the maximum knowledge of this fact and the ability to put it into practice. With the knowledge of plants and the ability to do yoga, a person can follow the path of staying healthy. Ayurveda is a thousands years old tradition, the whole world is ready to follow it and India is the ambassador of the discipline of Ayurveda. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made an important contribution in expanding this genre of Indian knowledge tradition at the global level. While inviting the next Ayurveda festival to be organized in Ujjain on the occasion of Simhastha 2028, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government will be the organizer of this festival. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the National Seminar under the 21st Ayurveda Festival-2025 on Monday.

11 Ayurvedic colleges will be started in the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 11 Ayurvedic colleges will be started in the state. According to the provisions of the new education policy, permission has been given by the state government to universities to conduct all types of courses including Ayurvedic, Medical and other courses. Arrangements will be made to run courses in Ayurveda like paramedical, nursing etc. The work of registering clinics and nursing homes related to AYUSH will be handed over to the AYUSH department. Like the Health Department, the retirement age in AYUSH will also be raised to 65 years. All India Ayurveda Institute will be started in Ujjain. The purchase policy of the AYUSH department will be simplified by making necessary amendments. The state government will provide support for setting up a unit of Ayurvedic products in the state. Land will also be made available for permanent construction to Ayurvedic institutions for Simhastha in Ujjain. The state government will provide support in setting up an International Vedic Court in Ujjain. There will be arrangements to study Unani system of medicine in Hindi also.

River linking campaign is being implemented for the first time in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is identified as a Tiger State. The state is continuously becoming prosperous in terms of wild animals. Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers, Narmada originating from here – to Gujarat, Tapti – to Maharashtra and Gujarat, Chambal – to Uttar Pradesh through Rajasthan and Ken – Betwa also makes Uttar Pradesh prosperous. It is a matter of pride that the river linking campaign is being implemented first in the country in Madhya Pradesh. Former Prime Minister Late. State government committed to encourage research in Ayurveda – Minister Shri Parmar
Minister of AYUSH, Technical Education and Higher Education Shri Inder Singh Parmar said that special efforts are being made by the state government to encourage research in Ayurveda. MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India has also inspired the people of developed countries to adopt a healthy lifestyle based on the medicines mentioned in Ayurveda. Padmashree and Padma Bhushan Shri Devendra Triguna suggested to develop centers of Ayurveda, Yoga, Panchakarma, etc. at places like Pachmarhi and Ujjain in the state. Vaidya Shri Manoj Nesri expressed the need to take initiative towards connecting AYUSH with technology. Dr. Girish Chandra Verma, Director of Maharishi Vedic University, suggested to develop necessary arrangements to provide health education to the students from school to higher education level.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored the hardworking and expert physicians of Ayurveda.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the national seminar digitally by performing Dhanvantari puja and lighting the lamp. Also released the souvenir published on Arogya Parv. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored the hardworking and expert doctors of Ayurveda field and provided appointment letters to the lecturers selected by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. In a program organized by All India Ayurveda Mahasammelan in collaboration with the state AYUSH department, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by presenting him a medicinal plant, Kalash and Angavastram. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated and visited the health fair.
