Prime Minister Modi canceled Russia’s visit, Moscow will not be included in Victory Day on 9 May

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has canceled the upcoming tour of Russia. He will no longer join the Victory Parade to be held in Moscow on 9 May. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dimitri Peskov gave this information.

However, Russia has not given the reason for the cancellation of PM Modi’s visit to Moscow. It is being said that this decision has been taken in view of the current security situation after the terrorist attack on Pahalgam. However, there is no response from India on this.

Earlier this month, the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited to Russia President Vladimir Putin to attend the Victory Day Parade to be held in Russia on May 9.

Many international leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping are going to go to Russia on this occasion. Let us know that PM Modi was invited to attend the Vijay Day Parade to be held on May 9 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Russia’s victory over Germany in the Second World War.

Let us know that on May 9 in Russia, the Victory Day Parade is celebrated as the victory of the Soviet Union on Germany in World War II. On this day, Germany surrendered in 1945.
