Local products will get global identity from ODOP-Expo in GIS-Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that ‘one district-one product’ is an important step towards making our artisans and farmers self-sufficient. The ‘Ek District-E-Product’ (ODOP) Expo held at the Global Investors Summit Bhopal provided a global platform to the products of local artisans and farmers. Special ODOP products of 38 districts were performed in GIS-Bhopal, which saw a unique confluence of tradition and innovation. In GIS-Bhopal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described ODOP as a strong initiative in the direction of self-sufficient India. He said that a particular product of every district can become its cultural and economic identity. The ODOP program has paved the way for local products to make a global brand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ODOP-Expo in GIS-Bhopal has given an opportunity to make our local products, especially handicrafts and agricultural products to be identified on the global platform.

Live performance of art, handicraft and agricultural products

Special ODOP products of Madhya Pradesh

Traditional, textiles and agricultural products of various districts are being promoted under ODOP in Madhya Pradesh. These include banana of Burhanpur, potato -based products and stone tiles of Gwalior, Khargone chili product, Garlic product of Mandsaur, neemuch coriander products, Satna’s tomato -based product, Morena’s Gajak and mustard products, Potato -based products of Indore, Guava Products of Indore, Guava Products of Bhopal, Sadaris of Bhopal, Sarees of Chanderi, Maheshwar’s sarees and handloom products, tikha products and handloom products, tikha products and handloom products Dhar garden print is included.

Dialogue between investors and local entrepreneurs at Expo

The expo provided an opportunity to communicate between investors and local entrepreneurs, which laid the foundation for the artisans and products of the state to new markets. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, “The reconciliation with foreign investors has laid the foundation stone for giving global commercial platform to the state’s products.”

In GIS, Bhopal, ODOP-Ecpo proved that traditional products in Madhya Pradesh have the ability to compete in the global market. The event will prove to be a milestone towards taking local products to new heights.
