Mahakumbh, which is held every 12 years in India, is being celebrated grandly after 144 years. The Mahakumbh, which started from 13 January, will now run till 26 February. During this time, crores of devotees are reaching Prayagraj to take a dip of faith. Meanwhile, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has released satellite photos of Mahakumbh which reflects the grandeur of the confluence even more beautifully during the Mahakumbh.

ISRO has shared satellite photos of Tent City in Mahakumbh Nagar. In these pictures, arrangements prepared for the holy dip in the confluence during Mahakumbh, roads, Pipa Bridge and other infrastructure are seen. Apart from this, these pictures also featured the construction of the pagoda park located in Prayagraj which is spread over 12 acres and will be one of the major attractions of Mahakumbh. Tent City and other structures have been constructed throughout the city for this religious event to be held in Mahakumbh 2025. ISRO has also released the time series photos of this tent city set up for Mahakumbh Mela which gives full details of preparations for organizing Mahakumbh.
8 crore devotees dipped in the confluence
So far, more than 8 crore devotees have taken a dip in the Sangam. Every day a large number of people come to take a holy bath in the confluence during Mahakumbh. The Mahakumbh, which started from 13 January, will run till 26 February and during this time lakhs of devotees will take advantage of the opportunity.
Railways made historical preparations on Mauni Amavasya
During the Mahakumbh 2025, Indian Railways has made historical preparations for the convenience of devotees on the biggest Amrit bath festival of Mauni Amavasya. Prayagraj Railway Division has claimed that on January 22, more than 150 fair special trains will run, which will be a new record of Railways. The specialty of these trains is that a train will be available every 4 minutes, which will give devotees a chance to travel easily. This system will be larger than 101 trains running during Makar Sankranti. Apart from this, directions will be run from all 9 main railway stations so that the devotees do not face any problem.
