Madhya Pradesh government committed to cow service – Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to cow service. The year 2024 was celebrated as the Year of Cow Promotion in the state. He said that mother cow is revered by the entire human race. For the welfare of mankind, mother cow has to be protected, we should not let mother cow remain destitute. He called upon to create Gokul in every house by rearing mother cow. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla participated in the cow story under the ongoing one-year Vedalakshana Cow-Aradhana Mahotsav at Kamdhenu Cow Sanctuary Salaria in Agar-Malwa district.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that such a large-scale festival going on in the cow sanctuary has fulfilled the year of cow promotion. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla discussed about the arrangements and requirements of the sanctuary in the cow sanctuary meeting room. He expressed happiness over the arrangements at the sanctuary. He said that the Chief Minister will discuss with Dr. Yadav to make Salaria a model sanctuary.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla went to the cow shed and took stock of the arrangements for rearing the cows and worshiped the cow mothers and fed them jaggery as nutritious food. MLA Shri Madhu Gehlot along with local public representatives and concerned officers and employees were present.
