Life has become disrupted due to cold in Madhya Pradesh. The mercury is continuously falling. A drop in temperature has been recorded in many districts including Bhopal, Rajgarh and Pachmarhi. Due to fog, drivers have to resort to lights even during the day. Panchmarhi was the coldest in the state. The temperature in Panchmarhi reached near freezing point. According to the update released by the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Panchmarhi was recorded at 0.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded in Bhopal was 3.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of Rajgarh was recorded at 1.6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature has been recorded at 6.7 degrees Celsius in Betul, 5.8 degrees Celsius in Dhar, 5.4 degrees Celsius in Guna, 6.6 degrees Celsius in Gwalior, 9.4 degrees Celsius in Narmadapuram, 6.6 degrees Celsius in Indore, 10 degrees Celsius in Khandwa. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature was recorded at 5.1 degrees Celsius in Raisen, 5.8 degrees Celsius in Ratlam, 6 degrees Celsius in Ujjain, 5.6 degrees Celsius in Chhindwara, 5.5 degrees Celsius in Umaria, 6.5 degrees Celsius in Tikamgarh.

Meteorologist Dr. Ved Prakash Singh said that right now people are not going to get relief from the severe cold. The period of falling temperature is going to continue. It is record breaking cold in Rajgarh too. However, the mercury in some districts remained in double digits. The minimum temperature in Sidhi has been observed to be more than 10 degrees Celsius. The weather is clear in Rewa and Khajuraho.
Maximum temperature was recorded in Khandwa. The effect of heat is being seen in Khandwa with a temperature of 28.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius in Betul, 21 in Bhopal, 21 in Guna, 22 in Indore, 26 degrees Celsius in Khargone. 23 in Raisen, 22.5 in Ratlam, 22 in Ujjain, 22 in Damoh, 21 in Jabalpur, 20 in Khajuraho, 21 in Umaria, 20 in Tikamgarh, 21 in Sidhi, 19 in Satna, 18 in Rewa and Mandla, Narsinghpur, Seoni, The maximum temperature recorded in the ocean was 23 degrees Celsius.
