Chief Electoral Officer Shri Sukhveer Singh held a meeting with representatives of recognized national political parties at Nirvachan Sadan, Bhopal and gave information regarding the final publication of voter list in all the districts of the state under Special Brief Revision of Voter List-2025. During this, voter lists were provided to the representatives of recognized political parties. CEO Shri Singh said that there are a total of 230 assembly constituencies and 65 thousand 014 polling stations in the state.
CEO Shri Singh said that the program of special brief revision of voter list-2025 had started in the state from 29 October 2024. From this day, the process of taking applications for adding names to the voter list, making amendments and removing names from the voter list started, which continued till 28 November 2024. Claims and objections were resolved by 24 December 2024. The final publication of the voter list in all the districts of the state was done on January 6, 2025.
During the draft publication of voter list in the state, the number of voters was 5 crore 65 lakh 94 thousand 963. At the time of last publication, the number of voters in the state is 5 crore 70 lakh 92 thousand 367. Shri Singh said that during the special brief revision of the voter list in the state, 7 lakh 98 thousand 469 names were added and 3 lakh 01 thousand 65 names were removed. Similarly, voter ID cards of 3 lakh 13 thousand 642 voters were amended. In this way, the number of voters in the state has increased by 4 lakh 97 thousand 404.

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Singh said that the list of final publication of voter list is available on the website of Chief Electoral Officer ceo madhya pradesh.nic.in. Any voter can check his/her name in the voter list through the website. Apart from this, voters can also check their name in the voter list on the voters.eci.gov.in portal of the Election Commission of India.
Improvement in gender ratio and EP ratio
Gender ratio and IP ratio have also improved under the special brief revision of voter list 2025. During the draft publication of the voter list, the EP ratio (voter ratio) in the state was 63.88. This has increased to 64.44 during the last publication of the voter list. Similarly, gender ratio has also improved. During the draft publication of the voter list, the gender ratio was 948, which has now increased to 950.
14 lakh 13 thousand 176 applications were received
Under the Special Brief Revision of Voter List-2025, a total of 14 lakh 13 thousand 176 applications for addition, deletion and amendment of names were received in the state, which were resolved within the time limit. In this, 7 lakh 98 thousand 469 applications of Form-6, 3 lakh 01 thousand 065 of Form-7 and 3 lakh 13 thousand 642 applications of Form-8 were received.
There are 2 crore 92 lakh 74 thousand 141 male voters in the state.
There has been an increase in the number of male voters in the state during the last publication of the voter list. Now the number of male voters in the state is 2 crore 92 lakh 74 thousand 141.
The number of women voters is 2 crore 78 lakh 17 thousand 016.
The number of women voters has also increased in the state. Now the number of women voters in the state is 2 crore 78 lakh 17 thousand 016. The number of third gender voters in the state is 1210.
74 thousand 387 service voters in the state
During the last publication of the voter list, there are 74 thousand 387 service voters in the state, out of which male voters are 71 thousand 960 and female voters are 2 thousand 427.
Age wise number of voters in the state
The age-wise number of voters in the state includes 11 lakh 19 thousand 161 in the age group of 18-19 years, 1 crore 33 lakh 88 thousand 424 in the age group of 20 to 29 years, 1 crore 51 lakh 44 thousand 883 in the age group of 30 to 39 years, 1 crore in the age group of 40 to 49 years. Crore 15 lakh 28 thousand 407, 81 of 50 to 59 years There are 31 lakh 709 voters, 48 ​​lakh 15 thousand 858 voters aged between 60 to 69 years and 22 lakh 11 thousand 505 voters aged between 70 to 79 years.
