Citizens of the city will now be able to deposit all types of Municipal Corporation taxes, be it property tax, water or commercial taxes, online from the comfort of their homes. On the instructions of Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar, the Municipal Corporation has started online service, providing a great facility to the city residents.
With this, citizens will now be able to deposit all types of civic body taxes online from any place. Earlier the corporation has done the work of verification for the actual number of taxpayers and other information.
The Municipal Corporation has prepared its own tax payment portal with the help of Command and Control Center under the Smart City Project. Through this, now the citizens of the city can pay their taxes. Till now, to pay taxes related to the Municipal Corporation, one had to go to the Municipal Corporation office or contact the RI.
For online payment, citizens can pay their outstanding tax by clicking on the portal corporationbilaspur.com/ptis prepared by the corporation. For this, the taxpayer will have to enter his property ID or name or ward number in the portal. After this, complete details of the property and tax will be available. After submitting it online they will get an acknowledgement. They can print it or download it and keep it safe with them. The payment process through the portal is completely secure.
Zone 1, 2 and other wards will be included soon
New wards added to the corporation limits will also soon be included in the online service. All information including the taxpayers of the new wards is being entered in the portal, after which soon the citizens of these wards will also get the facility of online service. At present, all the wards of zone number 1 and 2 and wards 64, 67, 68 of zone number 8 and wards 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 and 58 of zone number 7.
Citizens of Ward 41, 42 of Zone No. 6 will have to make payment offline only. Detail feeding work is going on. Once completed, residents of the entire city including citizens of all these wards will be able to deposit taxes online.

The citizens of the city will be able to pay their taxes in offline mode also like before. Online service has been started as an option for the convenience of citizens. Citizens can pay their tax by visiting the zone office of their area or corporation headquarters Vikas Bhawan or can also pay tax by contacting RI.
