Morena blast injured did not get treatment, father paid private hospital bill by borrowing money


When a government ambulance was not available, the blast injured in Morena was taken to Gwalior by a private ambulance. After this the ambulance driver forcibly admitted him to a private hospital. The father of the injured had to borrow money from Samadhi to pay the hospital bill.

Serious administrative negligence has also come to light in the treatment of the injured in the explosion in Rathore Colony of Morena city. The government ambulance took the injured to the district hospital for treatment, but no ambulance was found to take them to Gwalior.

Kanhaiya Rathore, aged 19, who was injured in the accident, was taken away by his father Kallu in a private ambulance. Where the ambulance driver admitted him to a private hospital. Kallu did not even have a single penny. On which treatment was done by taking loan.

Brought him home on Wednesday morning due to lack of money. After which there was an uproar in the locality. All the relatives and people of the locality took Kanhaiya to the district hospital in a hand cart.

Houses collapsed due to explosion

It is noteworthy that Rakesh Rathore’s house also collapsed in the explosion in Rathore Colony. Behind this house is the house of Rakesh Rathore’s brother Kallu Rathore, whose wall collapsed and Kallu Rathore’s son Kanhaiya got injured.

Kallu Rathore told that due to the collapse of his house, he does not have money even for food and drinks. No government ambulance was found at night. He was sent from the hospital in a private ambulance. The ambulance driver forcibly took him to a private hospital in Gwalior, even after telling the ambulance driver that he had been referred to a government hospital, yet he was taken to a private hospital.

The hospital handed over the bill

Where the hospital handed over a bill of Rs 30 to 32 thousand. There was no money to pay even for an ambulance, so Samidh Rakesh Rathore, living in Bilua, Gwalior, was called and he gave the money. Since he could not get further treatment in the hospital, he brought Kanhaiya home in the morning. After which the people of the locality raised slogans against the administration and carried the injured Kanhaiya on a hand cart while shouting slogans and took him to the district hospital.

Private ambulance admits patients in private hospitals for commission

Private ambulance drivers dominate the hospital. The patient is taken as soon as the patient is referred. Referral is made from the district hospital to Gwalior JAH, but these private ambulances take the patients to private hospitals of Gwalior.

The patient’s relatives are intimidated by government agencies. So that he gets ready to go to a private hospital. Those who do not go, they are forcibly made to stand at the door. Something similar happened in Kallu’s case.

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar saw collapsed houses in the explosion

In the explosion in Rathore Colony of the city, two houses were completely razed, while three nearby houses were damaged. After the accident, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar and MP Shivmangal Singh Tomar reached the spot on Wednesday afternoon.

During this, he instructed the Collector and SP to take strict action in the matter. He said that all the temporary licensed firecracker traders should be called and the firecrackers should be destroyed. Intensive checking should be conducted in their houses to see if anyone has stocked them.

He said that the Chief Minister has announced to give two lakh rupees each to the relatives of the deceased from the Swachhenudan Fund. Along with this, an immediate assistance amount of Rs 10,000 each has been provided from Red Cross.
