5 doctors of Saifai Medical College died, horrific accident in Kannauj while returning from wedding


A speeding Scorpio collided with a divider and overturned on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the death of five doctors posted at Mini PGI Saifai. On receiving information about the accident, officials reached the spot and took out the bodies from the car.

Five doctors of Saifai Medical College, Uttar Pradesh died tragically in a horrific road accident in Kannauj, while one is seriously injured. This accident happened at 4 in the morning on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway while returning from a wedding ceremony. The doctors who had come to attend the wedding ceremony in Lucknow were returning to Saifai. During this time, his speeding car collided with a truck in Kannauj.

On Tuesday evening, six doctors had gone from Saifai to Lucknow in a Scorpio car to attend their friend’s wedding. In Scorpio, Dr. Jaiveer Singh (39 years old) of Buddha Vihar Majhola Yojana, Moradabad, Dr. Anirudh (29 years old) of Kamla Nagar, Agra, Dr. Santosh Kumar Morya (40 years old) of Sant Ravidas Nagar, Mochipur of Kannauj. Dr Arun Kumar (34 years old) of Teramallu, Dr Nardev (35 years old) of Bypass Road, Bareilly and another companion were on board.

After attending a friend’s wedding in Lucknow, all the friends had left for Saifai at night itself. At four in the morning, the Scorpio went out of control as soon as it reached Sikrori village of Tirwa at the 196th kilometer point of the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. During this, she broke the divider and entered the truck parked on the other side.

one is in serious condition

After receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot. The injured were admitted to the Government Medical College, where five were declared dead. Dr. Jaiveer’s condition remains critical, hence he has been referred to Saifai Medical College. The police has informed the victims’ families about the accident.
