Questions raised on spoiling ACR
However, in 2022, a controversy arose regarding his ACR (confidential character list), because his ACR was defaced while he was the DG of Lokayukta. He had appealed to the government to improve his ACR, and the government took a decision in his favor. This time when the Madhya Pradesh government sent a panel of three names for the appointment of DGP, Kailash Makwana’s name was at the first place. After this, the names of Arvind Kumar, who is currently DG Home Guard, and Ajay Sharma, who is DG EOW, were included in the panel.
