Manish Tiwari, Director (Food and Beverages) of Hotel Sheraton Grand Palace, died in a road accident late night. Manish was returning home by car when his speeding car went out of control on MR-11, broke the wall of two houses, hit the electric poles and then got stuck between the wall of a house and a tree. Manish died on the spot due to serious injuries on his head, chest and face. According to Lasudia TI Taresh Soni, the incident occurred at 3 o’clock on Friday night. After the event at the hotel was over, Manish was going to his home Plaza Residency in car KA 53MJ 1297. His car went out of control on MR-11 in Nipaniya Kankar area and collided with the house of Premchand Bakaulia on the roadside. The speed of the vehicle was so high that it first hit the electric poles due to which both the poles bent.
The airbags of the car also burst
Even after this the car did not stop and turned 90 degrees, climbing the pillars and breaking the wall of Bakaulia’s house. After this, it got stuck in the trees, wall and electric poles outside the house. All the airbags of the car opened but due to the collision, the airbags also burst and Manish was left trapped in it. According to eyewitness Amar Tripathi, with the help of police and people, they broke the doors and took Manish out and sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. The doctor declared him dead as soon as he saw him. 36 year old Manish, son of Ravindranath Tiwari, originally resident of Monaboli Chhapra (Bihar), had started working in the hotel only six months ago.
Ambulance arrived after quarter of an hour, attendant started leaving saying he was dead
According to eyewitness Amar Tripathi, songs were playing loudly in the car. The driver was wearing a seat belt. When he came out after hearing the loud sound of collision, the driver of the car was trapped. The lights had gone off due to bending of the electric pole. For safety reasons, Bakaulia’s children were taken out of the house. The residents immediately called the police. The policemen who were roaming in the beat immediately reached the spot but Ambulance-108 took delay in arriving. The ambulance reached the spot after about three and a half hours. The operator first kept the phone on hold. After a long time, when we talked, the operator himself started refusing to come saying that he was unwell. After three and a half hours the ambulance came to the spot but the attendant said that the car driver had died. Carrying dead body is not allowed. Saying this, when he started leaving, the policemen caught him.
Waved 200 meters away, hit the barricade
According to the police, Manish’s car was traveling at very high speed. Manish had come from the bypass towards MR-11 from the road near Hotel Golden Lives. According to the eyewitness, the car became unbalanced from about 200 meters away. He first blew up the barricade placed on the roadside. Manish took control of the car and saved it from an electric pole but again lost its balance and broke the wall of Ankita’s house and entered Premchand’s house. Bakoliya’s sons Ravi and Yogesh run a shop in the name of Chanchal Kirana. The car had hit the shop.
