Eight people died in road accidents in Assam, three injured in the accident

Eight people died and three others were seriously injured in road accidents in Bajali and Dhubri districts of Assam on Saturday. Police officials gave this information. According to officials, a vehicle collided with a truck parked on the road in Bajali district, killing five people in the vehicle. Two people were seriously injured in this accident.

In another incident in Dhubri district, three people were killed when their vehicle collided with a stationary truck on the road near Garehat in Agomoni area, police said. One person was seriously injured in this accident. According to officials, the people involved in the accident in Bajali were returning to their homes in Nalbari after watching the Raas Utsav. In Bhabanipur, their vehicle collided with a truck parked on the road, resulting in the death of five people on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Ashish Habib Khan, Mizanur Rehman, Royal Khan, Mizanur Khan and Moinul Haq and the injured have been identified as Aamir Khan and Qazi Chakra Ahmed. The people affected by the accident in Dhubri were going from Gauripur to see the ongoing Raas Mela in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. In this accident, three people died on the spot and another person was seriously injured. The deceased have been identified as Dhananjay Roy, Bikash Kalita and Ram Roy. Injured Khanindra Roy has been admitted to Dhubri Medical College Hospital.
