It is noteworthy that at present there is not a single international flight from Bhopal. This airport had got custom status only a few months ago. Immigration wing has also been built here and e-gate is also ready.
At present, passengers who go abroad on international connecting flights from Bhopal via Delhi and Mumbai will get convenience with the opening of currency exchange counter here. Such travelers will get the currency of the concerned country in Bhopal only. This will save time for passengers.
Club Seven Company will operate
PRS Siddharth Yadav said that the Airport Authority is fully conscious about the facilities for the passengers at Raja Bhoj Airport and new facilities are being added continuously in this direction. A company called Club Seven will run the currency exchange counter.
According to Airport Director Ramji Awasthi, many facilities have been provided to the passengers at Raja Bhoj Airport in two years. Now it has become the major airport of the country with facilities like an international airport.
Many officers and employees including Commandant Atul Kumar, Mansingh, Alok Tripathi, Shivnarayan Patel, Commercial Head KP Sikarwar were present at the inauguration of this counter.
