For the voting to be held on November 13 for the Raipur Nagar (South) Assembly by-election, the voting officers and employees of the assembly constituency will get paid leave for voting. Raipur Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh has issued a circular to the office heads of all the departments of the district giving instructions in this regard. Through a circular, he has given instructions to provide paid leave to those officers and employees working in all government/semi-government/non-government offices of Raipur district who are voters of Raipur Nagar (South) assembly constituency for voting on the day of voting.
Voting date 13th November has been declared as public/general holiday for voting in the offices located under the constituency by the General Administration Department of the State Government. Since most of the offices in Raipur city are located at other places outside the delimitation area of Raipur Nagar (South) assembly constituency, voters of the area also function. Keeping this in view, the District Election Officer has given instructions to provide paid leave for voting to the voting officers and employees of Raipur Nagar (South) Assembly Constituency on the polling day.
