16 Maoist cadres surrendered in Narayanpur and returned to the mainstream.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that Bastar is changing – now there is no smoke of guns and gunpowder, but winds of development and trust are blowing here.

Chief Minister Sai said that the humanitarian campaigns of the state government like “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025” and “Poona Margame: Rehabilitation to Rejuvenation” have lit the lamp of hope in the hearts of those who had once strayed on the path of red terror.

Chief Minister Sai said that today 16 Maoist cadres in Narayanpur district have taken a bold decision to leave the path of violence and return to the mainstream. A total reward of ₹48 lakh was declared on these cadres who surrendered. He has now chosen a new path of peace, education and a dignified life.

Chief Minister Sai said that people’s confidence in the policies of the state government has increased and the determination of the security forces has established an environment of development and trust.

Chief Minister Sai said that in the last 20 months, a total of 1,837 Maoists have left the path of violence and joined the mainstream. This change is a testimony to the fact that the policies of the “Double Engine Government” are not only bringing peace but are also taking Bastar towards a new era.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the aim of the state government is not only to end Naxalism but also to bring the light of development, education and self-reliance to every village of Bastar.
