A major accident took place in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. A bus on the Bhallu bridge was hit by the debris that fell from the hill. So far 18 people have died in this accident, while many are said to be injured. According to the information, there were about 30 passengers in the bus. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital there. PM Modi, President Murmu expressed deep grief over this painful accident.
PM Modi said that I am saddened by the loss of life and property in an accident in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. My condolences in this difficult time are with the affected people and their families. I wish the injured to get well soon. During this, he announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 2-2 lakh to the families of all the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured with PM Relief Fund.

Debris fell over the bus
Actually, a bus was passing near the Bhallu bridge on Tuesday evening. Then suddenly the debris fell over the bus due to the hill cracking. After this, there was a scream. Due to continuous heavy rains in the area, the slope of the hill was weakened, due to which this accident happened. Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the accident and expressed condolences to the affected families.
The campaign for relief and rescue work has started. The debris is being removed from JCB. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed grief over the incident. He has said that the mind is very sad due to the bus accident caused by landslides in Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh.
NDRF teams have reached the spot and are engaged in rescue work. I express condolences to the people who have lost their loved ones in this accident. Also, I wish the injured to get well soon.
