In the working area of the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company, 29 March Saturday, 30 March Sunday and 31 March will continue to work on Eid-ul-Fitr as General Days. Under the Bhopal city circle, all the zonal offices under the four cities divisions like West, East, South and North Division and Bill Payment Center in Danish Nagar, Misrod, Mandeepeep will be open like General Working Day even during the said holiday. Electricity consumers are appealing to pay bills through cash and bill through cash from POS machine in the zonal office of the capital. The company has also directed that the power distribution center/bill payment center will be open during the holidays in all 16 districts of the work area. All the plains have been directed for this.
Pay online and get exemption
The Central Region Electricity Distribution Company is providing 0.50 percent discount on their total outstanding bill on paying the low pressure domestic consumers online, as well as there is no limit for maximum exemption. Similarly, high pressure consumers are being given discounts ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 1000 per bill.
The Central Region Electricity Distribution Company has appealed to consumers to pay electricity bills online. The company has said that consumers are available bill payments through MP online, Common Service Center, Company Portal.MPCZ.IN (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI, ECS, BBPS, Cash Card and Wallet etc.) Phone Pay, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Paytm App and Measures Mobile App.
