India’s blunt in UNSC ‘Pakistan will have to vacate Pok’

New Delhi

India has once again surrounded Pakistan for its antics. This was the opportunity to discuss the issue of maintaining peace in the Security Council of the United Nations (UN). Here Pakistan once again raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. However, this time too, India showed a mirror to the neighboring country and fiercely lashed out.

In fact, India’s permanent representative, Ambassador Harish P, took a dig at Pakistan and said, ‘Pakistan repeatedly makes baseless and unnecessary statements on our Jammu and Kashmir. Such statements can neither hold the false claims of Pakistan right, nor its policy of spreading terrorism.

India also said in clear terms that Pakistan has illegally occupied parts of Jammu and Kashmir and will have to leave the area. Harish advised Pakistan to leave his small thinking and policies dividing the country and move towards peace.

‘Pakistan again supports unnecessary comments’

Taking a dig at Pakistan, India said that it has again resorted to ‘unnecessary comments’, but this will neither prove its illegal claims valid, nor can its state-sponsored terrorism policy be justified.

Harish said that India will not allow the attention of this platform to wander towards the narrow and divisive agenda of Pakistan. He clarified that India would refrain from responding in more detail in this matter.

Relationships deteriorated after removing Article 370

Significantly, on 5 August 2019, the Government of India removed Article 370 and ended the special state status to Jammu and Kashmir and divided it into two union territories. Since then, more bitterness in the relations between India and Pakistan came and the trade stopped.

India’s attitude is clear that it wants a normal neighbor relationship with Pakistan in an atmosphere free from terrorism, violence and enmity.
