Cheetah Jwala and 4 cubs left in Kuno National Park now reached the populated area

After leaving the border of the forest of Kuno National Park, the female cheetah Jwala and four cubs in Bhairopura village of Vijaypur tehsil of Sheopur got face to face with the villagers. Here a calf was attacked by a female cheetah Jwala, then the cubs also started siege.

Seeing the attack on the calf, its owner and villagers started stoning on the cheetahs. Also tried to drive away with sticks. Kuno’s team standing nearby explained to the villagers that the calf is compensated, the cheetahs should not be attacked. On this, the owner of the calf said that we cannot see our cattle dying in front of us, if this happens, we will attack.

Was out of the park boundary

Let us know that a month ago, the female cheetah Jwala, released in the open forest and her 4 cubs came out of the park boundary for the first time on Saturday evening. These leopards returned to the forest of Kuno again on Sunday afternoon.

The calf had come in front

On Sunday night, these leopards were seen near village Bhairopura in Veerpur tehsil. He was about 1 km from the Sheopur-Gwalior broad gauge rail track under construction. On Monday morning, the calf came in front of the female cheetah Jwala, then she attacked with the intention of hunting.

But the leopards retreated due to the stoning of the villagers. The cheetahs were scared to see the villagers screaming with sticks. The female cheetah kept holding the calf for a long time, but then left.

A team of 15 people is monitoring the flame and cubs

The female cheetah is monitoring a team of 15 people under the supervision of Jwala and cubs, when the incident took place on Monday morning, a team was left behind and one was present around the cheetah. The party talked to the villagers and tried to explain not to do so.
