PM Modi said that he is overwhelmed by unforgettable reception in Mauritius. He also expressed happiness over the important presence of Bhojpuri language in Mauritius.
After reaching Port Lewis, PM Modi posted X on X in Hindi and Bhojpuri languages. He wrote, “I am overwhelmed by unforgettable reception in Mauritius. The whole glimpse of how Indian is composed in the culture here was seen in ‘Geet-Gavai’. The way our Bhojpuri language is flourishing in Mauritius, it is going to make everyone proud. ”
At the same time, he posted on X in Bhojpuri language, “There was a memorable welcome in Mauritius. The most special Rahal Ghira cultural engagement, Jawan song – Dekha Ku Milal in Gawai’s performance. This is commendable that in the culture of the great Bhojpuri language Mauritius, Aajuo is flourished and in the culture of Mauritius, Abhio is alive. ”
Earlier, Prime Minister of Sir Sivasagar Ramgulam International Airport Mauritius, Naveen Chandra Ramgulam welcomed PM Modi by garlanding him. PM Modi was warmly welcomed by the Indian community. The women of the community honored them through a traditional Bihari cultural presentation called ‘Geet Gawai’.
PM Modi wrote on X, “I am very impressed by the warm reception made by the Indian community in Mauritius. His deep association with Indian heritage, culture and values is really inspiring. This bond of history and heart has been going on for generations. “
Prime Minister Modi will attend the country’s National Day celebrations on Wednesday as the chief guest. A contingent of Indian defense forces with a ship of the Indian Navy will also attend the ceremony. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first visit to Mauritius since 2015. Prime Minister Modi’s current visit is expected to further strengthen cooperation in various fields.
