Air NCC flying training is currently underway at Agdih Airport in Jashpur. NCC cadets are being given all basic information from flying on small airplanes and landing on the runway, from the cockpit of the aircraft to every part and control of the aircraft.
According to Wing Commander VK Sahu, 35 trainee cadets are currently participating in this training being conducted from the 7th of this month and by the end of this month, youths are learning flight in the open sky in the open sky of Jashpur under the banner of 3 CG Air Squadron Raipur. Cadets of NCC Senior Division on Jashpur’s Agdih airstrip via 2 -seater Myco Light Aircraft by Air NCC, including both boys and girls.
This training will prove to be milestone
Wing commander VK Sahu said that this training is very effective for the youth who choose it as a career in the field of Air Force and Aviation. He said that he himself is a resident of Lakholi in Basna region and first he also flew as NCC cadets which later proves to be helpful for admission to the flying school for the youth going to the Air Force or Aviation area for his career. Told that this training has been shifted to Jashpur due to limited flight opportunity at Mana Mana Airport in Raipur. He thanked the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, State Education Secretary and Collector Jashpur Rohit Vyas for this entire training campaign, whose efforts have gone all the way with an ambulance and fire fighting squad with medical staff at Jashpur airstrip, which is leading to the work of the entire team and cadets, all the teams and cadets are going on with smooth.
Wing commander VK Sahu said that this training was being conducted at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Mana Mana, Raipur, but there were many types of problems in training air traffic pressure in Mana Airport and aircraft flying to 100 cadets. After this, it was decided to shift this training to any other small airport or runway in the state. After this, Jashpur’s Agdih Airport was selected, the calm environment and runway has proved to be very good for this training, it will prove to be a milestone for Jashpur with full training and Air NCC cadets. Flying experience over Jashpur is the aircraft involved in the training of unique micro light aircraft flying, in which flight training is being imparted to air NCC cadets from 2 seater micro light aircraft. It spends 13 liters of fuel at an one -hour flight and has a capacity to fill 50 liters of aviation fuel. It can be flown at an altitude of 20000 feet, but currently trainee cadets are being taught to fly it at an altitude of about 1000 feet. According to the information, this aircraft took 2 hours 5 minutes to fly from Raipur to Jashpur.
