US President Donald Trump has implemented wide new tariffs on all the goods imported from the US three largest trading partners – China, Mexico and Canada. The three countries have refused to bow down to Trump’s order. Due to this entire development, a trade war is feared in the world.
What is this whole controversy: –
1-American President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Saturday (1 February), with 25% tariff on goods coming from Mexico. 25% tariffs have also been imposed on goods coming from Canada, but 10% tariffs will be levied on Canada’s energy resources. In this order, 10% tariff was also imposed on imports from China.
2-Taurif is a domestic tax imposed on goods entering the country, which is in proportion to the value of imports.
3-American President said that this step has been taken with illegal immigration and his concerns about drug smuggling. The Republican leader made these two main issues the basis of his election campaign.
4-Trump said that all three countries are required to put tariffs to justify illegal immigration and drug smuggling.
5-In response, Canada and Mexico said they are going to put tariffs in retaliation. At the same time, China said to file a case in the World Trade Organization.
6-Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Saturday that his country would retaliate against President Donald Trump’s new tariff and levy 25% duty on several US imports. He said that he was imposing tariffs on US goods worth $ 155 billion Canadian dollars (US $ 107 billion).

8-Mexico President Claudia Shinbam on Saturday spoke of imposing a counter tariff on US imports. In a long article on X, Sheenbam said that his government wanted a conversation instead of a confrontation with its top trading partner, but Mexico was forced to respond in the same way.
9-Senbam posted, “I have instructed my economy minister to implement Plan B, on which we are working, including tariffs and non-tariff measures to protect the interests of Mexico.” However, he did not clarify which American goods his government would target.
China’s response to the 10-Trump’s order was also quite sharp. On Sunday, the Chinese Commerce Ministry said that China would file a lawsuit in the World Trade Organization and take appropriate retaliation to protect its interests. The ministry said, “Unilateral tariff growth from the US is a serious violation of the rules of the World Trade Organization. This step not only fails to resolve its issues in the US but also disrupts the general economic and trade cooperation of China-America. China [अमेरिकी निर्णय] He strongly opposed and is extremely dissatisfied with it. “
