Khandva
NH 347 has been proposed to connect Maharashtra and Gujarat. Whose construction has started from Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Gazette notification has been issued by NHI. Due to which the process of land acquisition will now be started. Under this project, Fourlane is proposed from Khandwa to Khargone. After this, Gujarat will be directly connected from there.
NHAI issued gazette notification
According to a letter issued from NHAI Project Implementation Unit, Khandwa, the notification of Section 3-A related to land acquisition has been published in the Government of India Gazette on 23 January 2025. Under this, the land of the affected areas has been identified for acquisition. The affected farmers and landowners have been given time to register objections within 21 days.

Widening of National Highway 347 will promote traffic economic and road safety. On completion of this work, better road connectivity will be done from Khandwa, Bhikangaon to rural areas of Khargone. Which will lead to transport facilities as well as industrial development.
The construction of the National Highway will start as soon as the process is completed. For this, instructions have been given to the local administration and the concerned department that there should be no obstruction of any kind in the land acquisition process. Along with this, proper compensation should be made keeping in mind the farmers.
