Crowd of devotees gathered on Basant Panchami in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, 62 lakhs took a dip by 8 am


Mahakumbh 2025 on Monday, the nectar bath of Basant Panchami continues from late night. Taking lessons from a stampede at Mauni Amavasya, strict security arrangements have been made this time. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is monitoring from the war room in his residence in Lucknow from three in the morning. He is accompanied by DGP Prashant Kumar and other officials. Meanwhile, in the Mahakumbh, flowers have been rained by the helicopters on the Naga sadhus and common devotees.

Naga sadhus performed Trishul and Damru

In the procession of the akharas that came out for the Amrit bathing of Basant Panchami, some Naga Sadhus were riding on a horse, while some were walking on foot and adorned with their specific costumes and jewelery. He increased the sanctity of Mahakumbh, waving flowers, flowers garlands and trident in the jatas.

Saints gave a suitable reply to those who criticize Mahakumbh

On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, along with taking a holy bath at Triveni Sangam, the saints and Mahatmas also gave a suitable reply to those who criticized the Mahakumbh. He also showed the mirror to the opposition parties, praising the arrangements of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the facilities being provided to the devotees.

Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das Sattua Baba Maharaj of Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara said, “Those who are talking about Sadhu and Mahakumbh, I want to tell them that (SP chief) Akhilesh Yadav ji, you never followed Sanatan Nor honored Sanatan. So do not take advantage of it now. We have seen when your party was in power, you opened fire on Sanatanis. Do not spread rumors for your benefit. We are eternal and we will uproot people like you from the root.

Naga became the center of attraction wearing a black west

Naga Sadhu was the center of attraction in the third Amrit bath held on the occasion of Basant Panchami on Monday at Mahakumbh, who caught the attention of devotees with his distinguished form and rituals. The discipline of these Naga sadhus leading most of the akharas for the Amrit bath was worth seeing.

Sometimes playing the damru, sometimes while waving spears and swords, these sadhus performed amazing the skills of running weapons. Some Naga sadhus were seen riding on horses, while others were seen walking barefoot hanging garlands and trident around the neck. When media persons and devotees were taking his picture, the sadhus enthusiastically invited him to see his traditions closely. Some were also wearing black glasses, which made the audience very happy.

Sadhus and common devotees appeared overwhelmed by selfishness

During the Amrit bath, Naga Saints, Sadhu saints and devotees were also overwhelmed by Pushpavarsha. The entire Triveni area became buzzing with cheers like Har Har Mahadev, Jai Shri Ram, Ganga Maiya Ki Jai. It is known that adequate flowers have already been arranged for the Amrit bath by the Prayagraj Horticulture Department. A stock of rose flowers was deposited in more than 20 quintals towards the Horticulture Department. At the same time, 5 quintals of flowers are also kept in the reserve.

On the occasion of Basant Panchami, foreign devotees appeared to be dyed in the vibrant colors of Indian culture while taking a holy bath at Triveni Sangam. He was not only seen immersed in spiritual depths with Indian friends, but was also seen warmly welcoming other pilgrims. Foreign devotees adopted Indian traditions on this special occasion and participated in a divine bath and described their journey as a unique and unforgettable experience.

Flowers with helicopter on all ghats and akhadas

On the day of Basant Panchami, the last Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025, the Yogi government, who came to take a dip on the Sangam coast on Monday, gave flowers from the helicopter. Flowers were rained on devotees during a bath on all ghats and akhadas by helicopter.

The mass of faith in Mahakumbh, the number of bathing people crosses 35 crores

In the holy confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna and invisible mother Saraswati, bathing of saints, devotees, kalpavasis, bathrooms and householders with reverence and faith has now reached a new peak. In this sequence, the number of bathing people in Mahakumbh on the Amrit bath of Basant Panchami has crossed the 35 crore mark.

By 8 am on Monday, 62.25 lakh devotees took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam. With this, the total number of bathing in Mahakumbh crossed 35 crores. Right now Mahakumbh has 23 days left and it is expected that the number of bathing people can go above 50 crores.

Foreign devotees took a dip of faith while chanting Har-Har Mahadev

Desi and foreign devotees took a nectar bath on Monday at the grand Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj from 13 January. These devotees looked quite happy by taking a dip in the confluence of faith on the day of Vasant Panchami.
