Now the MP Board has 20 days left in the 10th and 12th examination. In this case, teachers will not be able to take leave for Mahakumbh in Prayagraj or child rearing holiday (CCLE). The reason for this is that the government has issued an order to install Essential Service and Maintenance (ESMA) regarding board examinations. The government has implemented ESMA from 15 February to 15 May.
During this period, employees, officers and other staff appointed in the examinations will not be able to take leave and will not be able to strike. Orders have been issued in this regard.
MP Board Examination has been declared very essential service. Because of this, the ESMA Act will be applicable throughout the period of the examination. For this reason, teachers will no longer be able to go on leave.
However, many applications of teachers are coming to the district level to go to Mahakumbh and for child rearing holidays.
So far, about 150 applications have come to the District Education Officer (DEO). The school education department has also issued orders not to approve the leave of teachers.
The board examination of MP Secondary Education (Mashim), starting on February 24, has been declared a very important service. Because of this, the ESMA Act will be applicable throughout the period of the examination.
Many applications of CCL received
Before the examination, many teachers and teachers are applying for CCL and other types of leave. Applications of several teachers are pending in DEO offices.
Commissioner and Collector will meet on February 5
Video conferencing of all the divisional commissioners and collectors of the state is being held on February 5 for the preparations for MP board examinations.
Orders have been issued in this regard that a meeting has been held through video conferencing from 12 to 2 pm on February 5 in relation to the arrangements of the examinations year 2024-25 conducted by Mashim.
