Officers and employees who make excellent contribution in election work will be honored

On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, a National Voters’ Day program will be organized in the Vivekananda Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur on January 25 at 11 am under the chief hospitality of State Election Commissioner Shri Ajay Singh. Officers and employees will be honoured.

Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale informed that Raigarh Collector Mr. Karthikeya Goyal got the highest voter turnout of 81.66 percent in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the state, Durg Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary, despite being an urban area, got the highest voter turnout in the year 2024 compared to the last Lok Sabha elections. 2.48 percent increase in voting percentage in Lok Sabha elections, Dantewada Collector Mr. Mayank Chaturvedi got the vote in the last Lok Sabha elections despite being a heavily Naxal affected area. Will be honored as the outstanding District Election Officer for 10.39 percent increase in Lok Sabha elections 2024 as compared to 2024. Raipur Collector Mr. Gaurav Kumar Singh for excellently completing the training work of polling parties during the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Chief Electoral Officer of Rajnandgaon district Ms. Suruchi Singh for organizing quality sweep activities and District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer of Mungeli district Mr. Prabhakar. Pandey will be honored with a special award for the sweep activities to motivate migrant laborers to vote.
