Three schools have been threatened with bombs in Vadodara, Gujarat. The principal of the Navrhana School located in the Bhayli region was threatened with an e-mail and threatened to blow up, claiming that the bombs were placed in the pipeline. The threatened email came at four in the morning.
On receiving the information, the bomb disposal squad (BDS), Crime Branch and police team reached the spot and started investigation. Students have been discharged today as a precaution. The BDS team reached Navrhana School and University to conduct a thorough investigation. The BDS team started inspecting the university, while the crime branch and PCB police teams also joined the search operation.
According to sources, children of senior officials and politicians also study in Navrhana School. The police have started an investigation to locate the person threatening the bomb.
According to media reports, on Thursday, there was a stir when an email was threatened to bomb a school in Jogeshwari and Oshiwara areas of Mumbai. After receiving the threat, a team of Mumbai Police and bomb disposal squad reached the school campus and started an investigation. The email claimed that the bomb was hit by Afzal’s gang.
