In Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, food will not be available online after 1 o’clock in the night. SSP Dr. Lal Ummed Singh made this arrangement in the meeting of operators, managers, outlet in-charges and distributors of online food supply in the meeting room of C-4 building located on Civil Lines.
Besides, some other activities have also been asked to be stopped. To cooperate in the police investigation and for verification, they have been asked to submit complete information of their employees and delivery boys, including their ID, to the concerned police stations and provide information about their outlets. Instructions were given not to employ people with criminal tendencies in the institutions and to conduct mandatory character verification of the employees before employing them and also to give information to the police regarding the vehicles used by the delivery boys.

- Police are catching knife wielders every day in Raipur. During investigation, information has come that knives are being ordered online by miscreants. In view of this, the SSP took a meeting with the operators and managers of online shopping sites.
- During this time it was said that any type of knife is not to be delivered to the customers. Knives, drug related paraphernalia and other prohibited items were asked to be kept with them as per the code and opened in the presence of police.
- Instructed to give information about the customers to whom knives have been delivered in the past. Police believe that vicious criminals are taking advantage of this.
- Head offices of online shopping sites have been instructed through e-mail to prohibit and not to deliver items like knives, edged weapons, pistol-like weapons and drug-related materials.
