Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that the trainee officers should always have a feeling of affinity towards the common people during their service period. Treat the poor, the deprived and the innocent decently. Only honest, fair and sensitive officers get trust and respect among the general public. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the trainee Assistant Commandant Officers of Sashastra Seema Bal of the 29th batch. He congratulated and congratulated the trainee officers on this occasion. In the courtesy call program organized in the banquet hall of Raj Bhavan, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, Shri K.C. Gupta was also present.
Governor Shri Patel said that you are among those selected persons who have got the opportunity to serve the country by becoming an important part of Sashastra Seema Bal. All of you will get the opportunity to serve on many important posts in the coming time. Therefore, it is important that public interest always remains the priority in your work, conduct and decorum. He said that your every step should be towards the service of the nation and the welfare of the people. This will be the criterion of your success and true service. Your commitment and efficiency will take the glorious tradition of Sashastra Seema Bal to even greater heights and will be a matter of pride for your family, community, force, and the entire nation.
Be aware of digital challenges and let the general public do the same
Governor Shri Patel said that currently cyber crimes, use of new technologies by smugglers, and other emerging challenges will pose a big responsibility during your service period. All officers should first be aware and alert about the problems of the digital age like digital arrest, hacking etc. and then try to make the general public aware at their level.
Governor Shri Patel said that S.S.B. In the present scenario, it has played an influential role on every challenge of peace and order, internal security, Naxalism and border management. I am confident that based on excellent training, unique skills, and determination, you will meet these challenges successfully.
Governor Shri Patel was welcomed by presenting a sapling and felicitated with a memento in the courtesy call programme. He got the introduction of all the trainee assistant commandants. The welcome address was given by Shri Ajit Singh Rathore, Deputy Inspector General of Sashastra Seema Bal Academy, Bhopal. He gave detailed information about the 29th batch Assistant Commandant training program selected from the Union Public Service Commission. On behalf of the trainee officers, Ms. Rashi Bhardwaj and Mr. Ashish Raghav shared the training experiences of the Academy. Deputy Commandant Shri Sachin Kumar expressed his gratitude.
