Biometric machines are going to be installed in about one thousand schools in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. This will put a stop to teachers and other employees coming to schools arbitrarily. Now teachers’ salaries will be made only on the basis of biometric attendance. In such a situation, the salary of those who come late may be deducted.
There is bad news for the teachers and employees who consider government schools as Dharamshala and come to school as per their wish. A few months ago, Collector Ashish Singh had made it mandatory to register attendance through biometric machine in the Collectorate office.
Along with this, instructions were also issued to install biometrics in all the government offices of Indore district. But this was not followed in the education department. Two days ago, a meeting was held in the District Panchayat office regarding installation of biometric machines in government schools. In which CEO Siddharth Jain has asked to install biometric machines in all government schools. Let us tell you that biometric machines are to be installed in 1037 schools of the district.
Attendance is recorded on the register in most schools.
Till now, in most of the government schools, teachers register their attendance only in the register. Many teachers come and go from school as per their wish. Similarly, in the District Education Officer office also, employees are coming to the office as per their wish.
Biometric machine will be installed this month
Indore District Panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain said that now attendance has to be recorded through biometric machines in the offices and schools of the Education Department. For this, biometric machines are to be installed in all government school campuses, panchayats etc. of the district. At the same time, it has been asked to immediately install biometric machine in the District Education Officer office. This work should be completed this month.
Machine will be installed in 1037 schools
According to the information, biometric machine is to be installed in the school panchayat office in the district which is close to it. Others will be installed in the school premises only.
