Programs should be organized in the entire state on International Day of Persons with Disabilities: Minister Shri Kushwaha

Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha has said that on 3rd December, on the International Day of Disabled Persons, programs should be organized celebrating the abilities and achievements of the disabled across the state, showing commitment in building an inclusive society.

Minister Shri Kushwaha said that under the Sugam Bharat Abhiyan, we all should work together to create an accessible environment and develop the ITC ecosystem, this will pave the way for positive changes in the lives of persons with disabilities. Minister Shri Kushwaha said that on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, programs for persons with disabilities should be organized at major tourist places and public places of the state. Such events will not only promote inclusivity but will also make the public aware of the importance of accessibility. International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a day to demonstrate our commitment towards this section of the society. It is the responsibility of all of us to bring forward the disabled people by connecting them with the main stream of the society and providing equal opportunities to them.
