A rally and drama was staged to create awareness among people about World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day is celebrated every year on December 1 across the world. HIV virus is a virus which is fatal. Once it makes a home in the body, it is impossible to get rid of it and causes many diseases. This day is celebrated every year with a theme to make people aware.
In this sequence, a rally was organized by Jagdalpur Institute of Nursing College. A rally was taken out through the college to Asna and school rural area. Apart from this, awareness was spread among everyone through street drama in Asana. Apart from this, Medical College Dimarapal, Maharani Hospital and also more and more people, HIV infected women can also give birth to HIV free baby. This information was also given through street drama. It was also told that every pregnant woman should get tested for HIV as soon as possible.
Information was also given that confidential and free HIV testing service is available in Dimrapala and Maharani government hospitals. Apart from this, a race was organized near Danteshwari Temple on Sunday morning, which passed through the temple via Main Road, SBI Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Maharani Hospital, Sanjay Market, Mithali Chowk and finally ended at Danteshwari Temple. After that a drama was also organised.
