The car of the youth who had set out from Raipur to Mainpat collided with a truck on the Ambikapur-Bilaspur highway. In the accident, four youths traveling in the car died on the spot, one injured person died while being taken to the hospital. The bodies of two youths were trapped in the car. Five youths traveling in a car died in a road accident on Sunday morning near village Gumga on Ambikapur-Bilaspur National Highway. The youth was a resident of Changorabhata of Raipur.
The five youths traveling in a Skoda Rapid car were going to Mainpat. Their names are Dinesh Sahu, Sanjeev and Rahul. The age of the youth is said to be 25 to 30 years. The names of the two youths could not be ascertained. It is being told that the three youths had left home in the name of going to Jagdalpur.
On the way, two more youths boarded the car. Before Udaipur, near Gumga, the car collided heavily with a truck coming from the front. The accident was so severe that the car was badly damaged. Four youths died on the spot.
Injured youth died on the way
A seriously injured youth was immediately admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC) Udaipur. In view of his critical condition, he was referred to the Medical College Hospital, Raipur. As soon as he reached Ambikapur, the doctors declared him dead after examination.
Dead bodies were taken out with the help of cutter
As soon as information about the accident was received, Udaipur police station in-charge Kumari Chandrakar reached the spot with her team. The car was so damaged that a cutter had to be used to remove the bodies. After the accident, a huge crowd of people had gathered at the spot.
Two people were trapped in the car. They could be taken out with difficulty. The relatives of the deceased have been informed. After his arrival, detailed information regarding the youth will be available. High speed is being said to be the cause of the accident.
