The district administration has started preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections. This time, District Panchayat elections will be held separately in Pendra-Gaurela-Marwahi (GPM) and Bilaspur. The number of seats in GPM district has been increased to 10, while voting will be held on 17 seats in Bilaspur. The District Panchayat has received guidelines for this. Officials are waiting for the list regarding reservation. After the reservation list comes, preparations for holding elections will start and the process will be taken forward.

This time separate elections will be held in GPM district and Bilaspur district. GPM’s five seats have been increased to 10 seats. Elections will be held on 17 seats of District Panchayat in Bilaspur.

After this, Assistant Engineer of Public Health Engineering Department, AP Vaidya said that in view of the seriousness of the matter, the process of initiating action and canceling the tender is going on.
