‘Master Creation’ handicraft exhibition in Dilli Haat from 1st to 15th December

‘Master Creation’, an event of the Ministry of Textiles showcasing the finest handlooms and handicrafts, will be organized from 1st to 15th December at Dilli Haat, INA Market, New Delhi. The ministry said the program aims to promote and support artisans by providing them a platform to showcase their skills and sell their products directly to consumers. It is also an effort to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the handicrafts and handloom traditions of India.
According to a release from the ministry, visitors will have the opportunity to see a diverse range of handmade products including textiles, pottery, jewellery, woodwork and others. Each stall will showcase unique creations created by master artisans that will offer a glimpse of India’s traditional and contemporary art forms. Out of the 157 artisans and weavers participating in the event, 11 Padma Award winners, 18 Shilp Guru Award winners, 22 Sant Kabir Award winners, 113 National Award winners and 3 National Merit Certificate holders will exhibit and sell their creations.
Ministry of Textiles invites handloom and handicraft enthusiasts to join Dilli Haat to celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of India’s talented artisans and weavers to join in preserving the rich cultural heritage of our country. .
