Farmers are satisfied with the decisions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Paddy procurement has started smoothly in the state and districts from November 14. Happiness can be clearly seen on the faces of farmers after getting the right price for paddy. There is bumper procurement of paddy in the district this year. According to the information received, purchases are being made in the district this year at double the speed as compared to last year. Till now, a total of 11 lakh 25 thousand 515 quintals of 60 kg paddy has been sold by 25 thousand 731 registered farmers of the district, in lieu of which a payment of Rs 259.93 crore has been made to the farmers. Farmers are happy appreciating the major decisions and administrative arrangements taken by Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai in the interest of farmers. Due to these coordinated efforts, this Kharif season of paddy procurement in the district is proving to be satisfactory.

Better arrangements made in paddy procurement centers

As per the intention of the government, all the facilities are being provided to the farmers coming to the paddy procurement centers to sell their paddy, which includes the facility of micro ATM, availability of gunny bags in adequate quantity, electronic scales for correct measurement, drinking water, shade. Arrangements for electricity, toilets etc. have been made. Through micro ATM, farmers can withdraw up to Rs 10,000 in procurement centers and can also deposit the amount. This is providing relief from unnecessary crowd in banks and also saving time. This time also there is enthusiasm among the farmers in the district due to better management and steps taken in the interest of the farmers. It is noteworthy that one lakh 28 thousand 364 farmers are registered in the district. 100 paddy procurement centers have been established for these.

Farmers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister

Farmer Bhikhuram Nishad of village Janvargaon, who reached the paddy procurement center Achota in Dhamtari district, said that he had deducted tokens online and he had reached the procurement center to sell 58 quintals and 80 kg of paddy of his produce. He said that he would use the amount received from the paddy sold by him to build a house. He thanked state head Shri Vishnudev Sai for the facilities provided in the interest of farmers. At the same time, Committee Manager of Achhota, Mr. Virendra Kumar Sinha said that the procurement of paddy is going on smoothly in his center and regular lifting of paddy is also taking place. Giving information about the facility of micro ATM provided in the paddy procurement center for the convenience of the farmers, he said that through this the farmer can withdraw or deposit Rs 10 thousand per day. With this facility, crowding in banks can be avoided and time will also be saved. He said that farmers are also being informed about the facility of micro ATM.
