Priyanka Vadra has won from Wayanad seat. Rahul Gandhi had won from two seats, Rae Bareli and Wayanad in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Later she left the Wayanad seat, on which Priyanka registered a big victory in the by-election.
The winter session of Parliament continues. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Priyanka Vadra took oath as a Member of Parliament. Priyanka was sworn in by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Priyanka took oath in Hindi with the Lal Kitab of the Constitution in her hand. During this, she wore the signature brocade saree of Kerala. Watch the video below.
Let us tell you, Priyanka Vadra has become an MP after winning the Wayanad by-election. Before this, Priyanka reached Parliament House with her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother Rahul Gandhi and husband Robert Vadra. Both his children also reached Parliament. After Priyanka’s swearing-in, an uproar among the opposition members started in the Lok Sabha. The speaker appealed to everyone to maintain peace and ensure smooth conduct of the proceedings, but to no avail. After this the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned.
