Retired soldier Shriram Kushwaha, living in Anand Nagar, Bahodapur, burnt the belongings of his house. He used to beat his wife Rajni Kushwaha. When the woman reached the police station to complain, she burnt the household items in anger. The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot after receiving information about the fire and extinguished the fire by pouring water.

Shriram Kushwaha had beaten his wife. To complain about this, his wife first reached Bahodapur police station and then the women’s police station. On this, Shriram Kushwaha angrily took out his household items, poured kerosene in it and set it on fire.
He set fire to TV, fridge, sofa, clothes and other items. When the stuff started burning, he was walking around and watching it. When neighbors saw the flames they informed the police and fire brigade.
A fire brigade vehicle reached here and controlled the fire by throwing water, but by then most of the household items were burnt to ashes. Police found that Sriram had deliberately set the fire. The husband and wife were taken to the police station and counseled. He was reprimanded for doing such a thing and also instructed not to do so in future.
It has been told about Shriram Kushwaha that he had beaten his wife a few days ago also. Items were also thrown inside the house. Frustrated with him, the wife had reached the police station with a complaint.
