Bhopal
A start is being made to provide best and world class treatment to patients in all government hospitals of Madhya Pradesh. Now patients from any hospital will not be referred to other hospitals just because there are no doctors there. Dr. Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh has found a way out for this.
All types of operations will be possible in the hospitals of the state where operation theaters and other resources are available for surgery. Surgery will not stop due to lack of specialists. For this the government will call private doctors to the hospital. Services of private doctors can be taken for surgery and anesthesia. The government has issued orders in this regard.
Treatment will not stop due to lack of doctor
The government believes that the benefit of this process will be that surgery or other treatment will not stop due to shortage of doctors in district hospitals, civil hospitals and community health centers. Let us tell you that the government has devised this method to overcome the shortage of specialist doctors in government hospitals.
Payment rates also determined
However, initially this system has been started for Ayushman patients. After getting better response, other patients will also get the opportunity of this service. According to Tarun Rathi, Commissioner of Public Health and Medical Education Department, payment rates for doctors providing personal services have also been fixed. These payments will be made on monthly basis.
This will be the rate list
Surgical specialist doctors will be given 21.6 percent of the total amount of package prescribed in Ayushman Yojana for the concerned disease. Whereas anesthesia specialist will be given 10.8 percent. The doctor performing the surgery will have overall responsibility for the treatment from before the operation to follow-up. It is noteworthy that in 99 percent of the packages of operations under Ayushman Yojana, the amount is more than two thousand. The normal package for operation of lump is Rs 2000, for sinus surgery it is Rs 5000 and for sterilization it is Rs 2000. However, how much interest do private sector doctors take in this scheme of Madhya Pradesh government? This will become clear in the coming time.
