Yashasvi Jaiswal made record after record with his first century in Australia, got his name written in the list of warriors.

India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored a century in the first Test match being played against Australia in Perth. He did this after flopping in the first innings. Yashasvi’s Australian bowlers had no answer in the second innings. He completed his century easily and with this he made many records in his name. Yashasvi could not even open his account in the first innings. But in the second innings he scored a century and got his name written in the record book. This is Yashasvi’s first test match in Australia. Let us tell you about Yashasvi’s records.

Yashasvi’s amazing records
This is Yashasvi’s fourth test century in a test match. He is currently 22 years old. Yashasvi has come joint third in the list of batsmen who have scored the most Test centuries for India before the age of 23. Before turning 23, Sunil Gavaskar and Vinod Kambli had also scored four centuries each. In this matter, Sachin Tendulkar is at number one who had scored eight centuries. Ravi Shastri is at second place with five centuries.

This is Yashasvi’s third Test century in this calendar year. He is jointly second in terms of scoring the most centuries for India in a calendar year before turning 23. This year Yashasvi has scored three Test centuries. Sachin scored three centuries each in 1992 and Ravi Shastri in 1986. Sunil Gavaskar and Vinod Kambli are jointly at number one with four centuries each.

This is Yashasvi’s first test match in Australia. He is the third Indian batsman to score a century in his first Test match on Australian soil. Before him, Sunil Gavaskar had done this in his first Test match in Australia in 1977. ML Jaisimha scored a century in his very first Test in Australia in 1968.

Yashasvi made a partnership of 201 runs with KL Rahul. This is India’s biggest partnership for the first wicket so far in Australia. Earlier this record was in the name of Sunil Gavaskar and Krishnamachari Srikkanth who had scored 191 runs for the first wicket in 1986.
