The first match of India vs Australia 5-match Border Gavaskar Trophy is being played in Perth. Against India’s 150 runs, Australia was reduced to 104 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, the pair of KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a strong start to India. There has been a century partnership between the two. Yashasvi Jaiswal has also completed his half-century. India’s lead is close to 150.
Talking about Indian bowling, captain Jasprit Bumrah shone for India who took 5 wickets, while Harshit Rana got three wickets. Mitchell Starc was the highest scorer for Australia with 26 runs. Earlier, Team India had put 150 runs on the board on the basis of brilliant innings of Nitish Reddy and Rishabh Pant. KL Rahul is moving towards fifty. He has scored 42 runs after facing 115 balls. Yashasvi is at the crease after scoring 53 runs.
