On the instructions of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who considers service to mother cows as fruitful and virtuous, the government is setting up a cow shelter in the state to better serve mother cows. The Chief Minister today inaugurated the state’s first hi-tech cow shed at Barkhedi Dob in the capital Bhopal. Bhoomipujan was done, this cow shelter has the capacity to take care of 10 thousand cows. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Animal Husbandry and Dairying Lakhan Patel was also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while addressing on this occasion said that this is a unique and wonderful opportunity, I can say with guarantee that from the point of view of the capital, there is no cow shed with the capacity of 10 thousand cows anywhere in the capital of any state in the entire country. He said that we are connecting the government and municipal corporation in these cowsheds. But remember that now the mother cow should not face any trouble.

Hi-tech cow shed is being built in 25 acres area

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the current year (from Chaitra month to Phalgun month) is being celebrated as Cow Protection and Cow Promotion Year in the state. Keeping this in view, there is a plan to construct a state-of-the-art cow shed with a capacity of 10 thousand cows at Barkhedi Dob in Bhopal. The cow shed is being built in an area of ​​about 25 acres. In this, along with modern maintenance of cows, a medical ward will also be constructed with all the resources for their treatment. There will be a system of continuous monitoring through CC TV in the cow shed.

CM Yadav said that MP produces 9 percent milk of the country’s production. It will be increased to 20% in the next 5 years. Just as the government gives bonus on wheat and paddy, similarly it will give bonus on purchasing milk also. Regarding BJP’s victory in Maharashtra, he said that the Maharashtra government has given the status of Raj Mata to cow. Government is being formed there again. He also talked about starting courses related to cow mother in Atal Bihari Vajpayee University.

A cow shed with a capacity of 10 thousand cows is being built in Barkhedi Dob, 20 kilometers away from Bhopal. A medical ward will also be built here. Cows can also be treated here.

All arrangements will be made for security, this cow shed will be made hi-tech. It will have all the necessary resources including CCTV cameras, which are necessary from security point of view. Its cost will be Rs 10 crore.

A unit will be set up to make fertilizer from cow urine and dung. In the first phase, a plan has been made to start the construction of an area with a capacity of 2 thousand cows rapidly. A modern conveyor belt system will also be installed in the cowshed for the supply of green fodder, chaff and animal feed. Smart city project and district panchayat will build cowshed with about Rs 15 crore. The operation will be done by the Municipal Corporation. A unit will also be set up in the cowshed to prepare organic fertilizer and other materials from cow dung and urine. Modern medical wards will be constructed for the treatment of injured and sick cows.

Rs 15 crore will be spent on construction work

The construction work of the cowshed costing about Rs 15 crore will be done by the Rural Engineering Department, while the Municipal Corporation and Animal Husbandry Department will be the nodal agencies. The Gau-Shala will be financed by the Smart City Project and the District Panchayat. The cowshed will be operated by the Municipal Corporation. The cow shed will be constructed in three phases, in which a capacity of about 2000 animals will be constructed in the first phase.

Chaff, green grass, animal feed etc. will be available through conveyor belt.

In this state-of-the-art cow shelter, chaff, green grass, animal feed etc. will be delivered to the cows through conveyor belts. In the cow shed, various materials will be prepared from cow dung and urine etc. and a plant will also be set up for manufacturing organic fertilizer. A medical ward is also being built for the treatment of animals living in cowsheds and those who get injured and sick on the roads.
