Madhya Pradesh: Great news for farmers! Procurement of jowar and millet at support price starts from today

Good and big news has come for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. Procurement of Jowar and Bajra at support price (Jwar and Bajra MSP) has started in the entire state. The procurement which started from 22nd November will be done till 20th December. The state government has made special preparations for this. According to the fixed rate, Jowar Maldandi will be purchased at support price of Rs 3421, Jowar Hybrid at Rs 3371 and Bajra at Rs 2625. Let us tell you that 9 thousand 854 rupees for millet and 5 thousand 933 rupees for jowar were received from the entire state. Farmers have registered.

After purchasing jowar and millet at support price, payment will be made to the bank account linked to Aadhaar number during farmer registration. Instructions have been given to the collectors to take complete action to stop the illegal sale of produce brought to the procurement center from neighboring states during the procurement period of jowar and millet.

Procurement of jowar and millet at MSP has started in Madhya Pradesh. According to the rates fixed by the government, Jowar Maldandi will be purchased from the farmers of the state at Rs 3421, Jowar Hybrid at Rs 3371 and Bajra at Rs 2625. Apart from this, FAQ quality produce will also be purchased from farmers at these rates. The purchase will run every week from Monday to Friday. During this period, farmers will be able to sell their crops. Let us tell you that more than 15 thousand farmers from the entire state have got themselves registered for jowar and millet.

After purchasing jowar and millet at support price, payment for it will be made online. During farmer registration of farmers, this money will be sent to the bank account linked to Aadhaar number. The district level committee will finalize all disputes related to procurement and monitor the quality of the procured food grains.
