While trying to get down from a moving train, a woman’s foot slipped and she got stuck between the platform and the train. A woman died tragically in this accident that took place on Sunday morning at Bhopal railway station. The woman had boarded that train by mistake. He had to leave by another train. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Bindu Parihar. She was originally from Narsinghpur district and had come to Bhopal to meet her daughter.
She was scheduled to leave for Dewas with her sister-in-law on Sunday morning by Malwa Express. When the woman reached the station, the Samta Express train had arrived and was standing on the platform. The woman boarded this train by mistake. When the woman came to know from other passengers in the bogie that this was not Malwa Express, she quickly started getting down from the train. By then the train had started gaining speed. Meanwhile, the woman’s foot slipped, due to which she fell down and got stuck between the platform and the train and was dragged for some distance.
Seeing this, the people present on the platform and the RPF jawan ran to save the woman. He was taken out and taken to the hospital, but by then he had died. GRP police station has established a track and taken the matter under investigation.
