After 10 hours of hard work, the chain was finally taken out of the water.

According to the report, Ramaiya and Umadevi had installed the idol of Lord Ganesha in their house in Dasarahalli area of ​​Vijayanagar in Bengaluru. They had decorated the idol with flowers and jewellery. They had adorned it with a gold chain weighing 60 grams. Its cost was about Rs 4 lakh.

On Saturday night, they took the mobile tank to immerse the idol. After immersion, they remembered that they had put a gold chain on the idol and forgot to remove it. They reached there again after an hour of returning home. Some people told that during immersion, they had seen a chain around Ganpati’s neck but they thought it would be fake. After this, the couple informed the Magadi Road police station.

MLA Priya Kishore also reached for help. The MLA spoke to the tank contractor Lankesh D. People present around the tank started looking for the chain. After this, it was decided to empty the tank. There was about 10 thousand liters of water in it. Even after removing all the water, the chain was not found. After this, it was searched in the mud left after immersion of Ganesh idols. About 10 people were engaged in this work. Finally, the gold chain was found in the mud.
