After PM Modi’s appeal, there is a huge jump in the sale of Indian flag, sales increased by 60-70%

Exactly 5 days from now, the country will celebrate its 77th Independence Day. In such a situation, yesterday Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on social media and once again appealed to the people of the country to run the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. He wrote that now Independence Day is near, so let us all together make the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign a mass movement. Let us tell you that the Prime Minister also put the tricolor in his profile picture and appealed to the people to do the same and send selfies with the tricolor. The effect of Prime Minister Modi’s appeal was such that the sale of the tricolor increased by 60-70 percent. Let us tell you that in 2022 also Modi had appealed to run a similar Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and at that time there was a tremendous jump in the sale of tricolor flags.

Prime Minister’s appeal brings boom in the market
Suraj Prakash, who works with flags in Sadar Bazaar under the name of Suraj Bhai Jhande Wale, said that on 15 August, programs are held at many places, in which the national flag Tricolor is hoisted. Apart from this, programs start 2-3 days in advance at many places. In such a situation, the sale of tricolor flags and related items increases a week or ten days before 15 August. In the last 3-4 days, the sale of tricolor items has increased by 60-70 percent. Now yesterday Prime Minister Modi has appealed to run the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ again and its effect is that in one day itself, there has been a jump of 90 percent.

He said that there were orders from many places yesterday. It will be fun if the work is done like this. If the Prime Minister had made this appeal a week ago, then a lot more work could have been done, but there are still 4-5 days left, this is too much. After yesterday’s appeal, orders are coming from all over the country, and there are orders for the tricolor from abroad as well. Goods are also going outside India to countries like Australia, England, etc. We order goods from Hyderabad, Madras, Surat, etc. and supply them everywhere as per the order.

Great work since 1 week
Mohammad Miraj, who deals in flags in Sadar Bazar, said that for the past few days, excellent work has been going on. There are orders for goods from everywhere. After yesterday’s appeal, work has picked up pace. Yesterday there were so many orders that there was no time. The Prime Minister’s appeal has an effect. Many people also buy flags in bulk and distribute them. The number of people coming to the market who buy flags to distribute is also good. We want that every year the tricolor should be sold like this, then the artisans who make flags and we shopkeepers will benefit a lot. Along with flags, there is a good demand for many small and big items of tricolor color across the country and this demand will increase further till 15 August.

Bumper sale of these items
Suraj told that many items of tricolor colour are being sold, but the most cloth flags are being sold. Among these flags, the demand for fine cloth flags of 30*45 inches and 20*30 inches is the highest. The price of 30*45 inch flag is Rs. 32, while the price of 20*30 inch cloth flag is Rs. 18. Apart from this, there is also a spinning top, which is for children and it is also being sold in large numbers. Many programs are also held in schools etc. for Independence Day, in which children take balloons, small flags, badges, hand bands, caps etc. In such a situation, these items are also being sold in huge numbers.
